About this role
SpaceX seeks a Product Security Engineer for Starshield to design and build security infrastructure for government-focused satellite systems. You'll develop cryptographic services, secure boot mechanisms, and security features across routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites while maintaining production systems and collaborating with engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design and build cryptographic services and security-critical infrastructure for Starshield systems
- Develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites
- Design security into factory processes and provide supporting network services
- Maintain production systems and improve security posture through implementation and recommendations
- Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on security integration
