About this role

SpaceX is seeking a Wireless Software Engineer to develop firmware, embedded systems, and signal processing software for Starlink's satellite constellation and global broadband network. You'll design physical and MAC layer software, work on hardware bring-up, and collaborate across teams to build cutting-edge networking algorithms connecting thousands of satellites to millions of users.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement, test, and maintain physical and MAC layer wireless software for Starlink communications
  • Architect hardware and signal processing algorithms for current and next-generation systems
  • Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, verification and launch activities
  • Integrate end-to-end system components across multiple engineering teams
  • Develop prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
  • Plan and organize product development collaboratively with other engineers
