Security Engineer, Privy
About this role
Privy is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to own security operations, incident response, and infrastructure protection for a rapidly growing crypto platform. You'll investigate security signals, build automation tooling, and collaborate with engineering teams to solve real security problems at scale.
What you'll do
- Investigate security alerts, anomalies, and incidents end-to-end; identify root causes and drive remediation
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response, vulnerability triage, and security escalations
- Build and maintain production tooling for alert enrichment, automated triage, remediation workflows, and detection improvements
- Lead forensic investigations into suspected security events and coordinate appropriate responses
- Identify operational bottlenecks and engineer durable solutions to improve team efficiency and scalability
- Partner with product and engineering teams on security risk assessment and design reviews
