Software Engineer, Bridge

About this role

Bridge is hiring a Software Engineer to build a stablecoin-based payments platform that enables faster, cheaper global money movement through APIs and virtual accounts. You'll have significant autonomy as an early engineering team member, owning projects end-to-end while working on greenfield infrastructure serving thousands of developers worldwide.

What you'll do

• Develop and ship API products for reliable, performant, business-critical financial infrastructure
• Own projects end-to-end with minimal Product Management support, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and implement product improvements to enhance partner and user experiences
• Balance business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability in decision-making
• Enhance engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the team and organization

What they're looking for

• 5+ years backend software engineering experience
• SQL database design and optimization
• Backend frameworks (Rails, Django, Express, or equivalent)
• API product development
• Technical leadership and project ownership
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Blockchain or distributed systems knowledge (preferred)
• Crypto or financial products experience (preferred)
