Platform Engineer II

About this role

Teamworks is seeking a Platform Engineer II to manage and enhance their AWS GovCloud infrastructure, focusing on observability and stability. This hands-on role requires collaboration with application teams to streamline processes and ensure reliable operations in high-performance environments.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations of AWS GovCloud infrastructure
• Deploy new features and updates in collaboration with application teams
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipeline templates
• Address infrastructure issues and propose solutions
• Provide clear guidance on platform changes to application teams
• Improve environment observability and participate in on-call rotation

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in platform or DevOps engineering
• Linux administration skills, especially RHEL
• Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and Terraform experience
• CI/CD knowledge using GitLab CI
• AWS infrastructure management
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in AWS GovCloud or regulated environments
• Scripting skills in Python or shell
