Database Conversion (ETL) Programmer
About this role
NISC seeks a Database Conversion (ETL) Programmer to design and execute complex data conversion solutions for utility and broadband implementations. You'll leverage Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Pentaho Data Integration, and Unix/Linux to transform customer data onto NISC platforms while collaborating with project teams.
What you'll do
- Research, design, and execute data conversions from customer systems to NISC platforms
- Develop and optimize ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration and SQL
- Validate data accuracy and completeness throughout conversion workflows
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on data strategy and technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve data conversion issues in Oracle and other relational databases
- Document conversion procedures and maintain data conversion standards
