About this role

True Anomaly seeks a Data and Controls Systems Test Engineer to design and operate data acquisition and test control systems for spacecraft testing in Long Beach, CA. You'll architect DAQ systems, develop test automation software, and ensure data integrity across propulsion, fluids, avionics, and environmental test campaigns.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement data acquisition systems including sensor selection, signal conditioning, and hardware architecture for multi-discipline test campaigns
  • Develop automated test control and sequencing software using LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, or similar platforms
  • Define instrumentation requirements and sensor layouts in collaboration with test engineers
  • Commission, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation hardware and software integration
  • Ensure test data integrity, traceability, and deliver high-quality data for engineering analysis
  • Architect and operate DAQ systems for complex spacecraft test campaigns
