About this role

Twilio seeks a senior Android engineer to architect and lead development of Voice and Video SDKs, owning technical direction, build pipelines, and cross-platform alignment while serving as the primary Android expert across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Own Android SDK architecture, implementation, and long-term technical strategy for Voice and Video products
  • Lead development and maintenance of Android SDKs including WebRTC, ReSiprocate, and C++ integration layers
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline stability and participate in build system modernization efforts
  • Establish Android best practices and provide architectural guidance across teams
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain quality standards, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Collaborate with iOS, JavaScript, and React Native teams on cross-platform convergence
