Varda seeks an Embedded Linux Engineer II to develop critical flight software for spacecraft and reentry capsules operating in low Earth orbit. What you'll do
- Develop and maintain flight-critical software for spacecraft, satellite bus, and reentry capsule operations
- Write structured bare metal, RTOS, or Linux-based embedded software in C++
- Own complete software development cycle including design, testing, integration, and verification
- Capture requirements and perform design trades for open-ended technical problems
- Implement software test, verification, and validation techniques to ensure system quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide problem-solving in a mission-critical environment
