About this role
Vercel is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to modernize internal IT operations by automating workflows, consolidating tools, and improving cross-functional processes. You'll work hands-on with scripting, integrations, and vendor management while leveraging AI to transform IT from reactive support into a strategic function.
What you'll do
- Design and build automation workflows across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM, and ITSM systems
- Lead SaaS tool consolidation efforts and manage vendor lifecycle including procurement and renewals
- Develop integrations between core IT systems using APIs and automation platforms
- Partner with Security, Compliance, and People Operations on workflow optimization
- Identify and resolve technical debt in high-friction IT processes
- Create and maintain IT documentation standards and internal knowledge base
