About this role
Virtru seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy and operationalize their Data Security Platform across government and defense customer facilities in Northern Virginia. You'll work onsite at secure, mission-critical environments, managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes while bridging Virtru's platform capabilities with complex Windows and Linux infrastructures.
What you'll do
- Deploy and configure Virtru's Data Security Platform across classified and unclassified government environments with custom security controls
- Integrate DSP with government infrastructure including Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows authentication, and cloud-native microservices
- Architect and manage containerized DSP deployments on Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, Rancher) with Helm customization
- Translate customer mission requirements into technical implementations by working directly with government technical teams
- Troubleshoot complex integration challenges across diverse technology stacks and coordinate with internal and external teams
- Build deployment runbooks, configuration guides, and automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) for government environments
