Spacecraft Systems Engineer
About this role
Voyager Technologies seeks a Spacecraft Systems Engineer in Pittsburgh to lead technical development and operation of lunar landers and space systems. You'll manage system requirements, budgets, interfaces, and risk throughout the program lifecycle while guiding subsystem teams and partnering with customers.
What you'll do
- Design and develop lunar lander and space-based systems from concept through operations
- Manage system requirements, technical budgets, launch vehicle constraints, fault management, and V&V planning
- Provide technical guidance and direction to subsystem engineering teams
- Develop Interface Definition Documents, Interface Control Documents, and integration/operations plans
- Serve as liaison between payload engineers and partner organizations
- Lead technical presentations, prepare documentation, and communicate across disciplines to resolve risks
