About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer 2 to develop and maintain sophisticated software systems for federal government clients, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing solutions. The role requires full-stack expertise with AWS and Terraform, working both independently and collaboratively to deliver robust, production-grade systems.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems handling analytics, algorithms, and large datasets
  • Review and test software components against design requirements and document results
  • Investigate and resolve software defects and problem reports
  • Provide technical input on hardware/software trade-offs and architecture decisions
  • Evaluate and integrate Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions
  • Conduct requirements analysis and translate system-level needs into component-level designs
