This hands-on role involves designing network architecture, managing industrial protocols, ensuring cybersecurity, and supporting commissioning across high-capacity power systems in Memphis, TN.

What you'll do

  • Design and operate the OT network for battery storage fleet including packs, inverters, and plant controllers with deterministic, redundant, and secure communication
  • Architect site network topology, redundancy, switch configuration, VLAN design, and IP addressing across the storage fleet
  • Plan and execute fiber and copper physical infrastructure including splicing, testing, patch panel layout, and pathway coordination
  • Integrate and configure industrial protocols (Modbus TCP, DNP3, IEC 61850 with GOOSE) and map communications between controllers and management systems
  • Implement precision time distribution using PTP (IEEE 1588) and IRIG-B for event sequencing and disturbance analysis
