About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Electromagnetic Warfare team in Irvine, California. You'll own portions of the manufacturing value chain for defense hardware, driving process improvements, quality, and scaling from prototype to full production while collaborating with design and quality teams.
What you'll do
- Own Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events and operational excellence initiatives
- Partner with Product Quality Engineering on root cause corrective action (RCCA) burndowns
- Collaborate with Design Engineering on Design for Manufacturability (DFx) across development phases
- Develop process flows, work instructions, quality plans, and inspection documentation for hardware scaling
- Manage relationships with contract manufacturers (PCBA, harnesses, RF components) and hands-on prototype building
