About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Motor Control Electrical Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end development of high-performance motor control systems for small tactical drones (Group 1-3). You will guide cross-functional teams through architecture, board design, integration, flight testing, and customer delivery in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Lead motor control architecture trades, board design, implementation, and validation from concept through flight test and delivery
- Drive motor control optimization for contested and challenging operational environments
- Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues using lab equipment and software debugging tools
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers on fully integrated products
- Support active deployments and customer-operated hardware in fast-paced operations
- Establish system-level performance requirements and validate complex embedded systems
