About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Packaging Engineer to develop and manage comprehensive packaging solutions for high-value defense technology products. You'll collaborate across engineering, production, and supply chain teams to design protective packaging for transport and storage while ensuring compliance with rigorous quality and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Design protective packaging solutions for sensitive technology in collaboration with Engineering and Production teams
- Lead internal packaging design for production line material flow and coordinate with Industrial Engineering on implementation
- Evaluate supplier packaging and conduct material selection to meet technical requirements
- Execute prototype development, sourcing activities, and manage build milestones
- Perform risk assessments and investigations for packaging-related transportation and storage issues
- Track inventory using ERP/WMS systems and provide data-driven optimization insights
