About this role
Applied Intuition seeks an OTA Validation Engineer to test and validate over-the-air software updates for automotive electronic control units and vehicles. You'll execute manual and automated test cases, investigate defects, and develop Python-based test automation while working with hardware benches and prototype vehicles across diverse network and power conditions.
What you'll do
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for OTA software features and system requirements
- Validate OTA update workflows across HIL benches, lab vehicles, and prototype vehicles including ECU communication
- Perform functional and regression testing on vehicle ECUs under various network, power, and update scenarios
- Develop and maintain Python-based test automation to improve test coverage and regression efficiency
- Analyze logs, investigate defects, and document test results, bug reports, and validation artifacts
- Collaborate with systems engineers and software developers to verify fixes and improve validation processes
