About this role
AssetWatch is seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer to analyze vibration and temperature data from industrial machinery, identify maintenance needs, and develop predictive maintenance solutions. This role combines field data collection with software development to deliver actionable insights that prevent equipment failures for manufacturing clients.
What you'll do
- Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at customer sites, customizing processing for specific assets
- Perform vibration data analysis, software modeling, and engineering evaluations to assess machinery health
- Develop software programs and models to expand the vibration analysis library and improve data processing capabilities
- Set alarm thresholds and provide actionable maintenance recommendations to clients
- Accompany installation teams to recommend optimal sensor placement on equipment
- Expand condition monitoring expertise beyond vibration to include ultrasonic and fluid analysis techniques
