About this role
Astranis seeks an Electronics Test Engineer to develop and implement comprehensive test systems for spacecraft electronics, including designing automated testing solutions, creating PCB interfaces, and writing Python-based control software. You'll collaborate with design teams to validate power systems and other custom electronics before orbital deployment.
What you'll do
- Develop automated hardware and software test solutions to validate spacecraft electronics
- Design PCBAs to interface with flight hardware for testing purposes
- Write Python scripts to control test equipment, devices under test, and instrumentation
- Collaborate with design teams through qualification and acceptance testing phases
- Provide technical feedback to improve electronics designs
- Participate in recruiting and hiring for the growing test engineering team
