About this role
Join Nextdoor's Local Conversations team as a Fullstack Engineer to build product experiences that encourage community participation. You'll work across React frontends and Python/Django backends, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment across multiple US cities.
What you'll do
- Build and ship high-quality web experiences using React and Python/Django across frontend and backend systems
- Contribute to entity-relationship modeling, solution architecture, implementation, testing, and iteration
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on technical approaches and maintainable solutions
- Participate in on-call shadow rotation after onboarding and ramp-up period
- Contribute to two evolving product areas focused on rewards and incentives within neighborhood communities
- Participate in team operating practices and contribute ideas beyond executing predefined tasks
