About this role
AvePoint is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) to embed with enterprise customers as a technical expert in AI governance, security, and trust. You'll balance advisory work—whiteboarding governance concepts with executives—with hands-on delivery, building prototypes and scoping AI projects that solve real business problems.
What you'll do
- Lead AI governance discovery workshops and advise customers on their AI landscape across agents, copilots, models, and shadow AI
- Establish AI inventories, approval workflows, risk classifications, and audit frameworks with customers
- Translate business challenges into scoped, deliverable AI projects with defined success criteria and technical specifications
- Build working prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate AI solutions
- Present AI trust, governance, and security posture to both technical and executive audiences
- Own customer engagements end-to-end from discovery through production deployment
