AI Business Automation Engineer
About this role
Box seeks an AI Business Automation Engineer to partner with internal teams across Finance, Legal, and other functions to redesign business workflows using AI-first approaches. You'll translate complex business problems into production-ready agentic solutions, working across a full technical stack while maintaining enterprise security and reliability standards.
What you'll do
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts to map workflows, identify inefficiencies, and co-design AI-driven process transformations
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver end-to-end agentic solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks
- Prototype AI solutions rapidly using LLM APIs, RAG patterns, and agent frameworks to validate ideas before production deployment
- Build and maintain integrations between Box's SaaS systems (Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, BigQuery, etc.) via APIs and integration platforms
- Design secure data pipelines and implement controls for data classification, access management, and responsible AI governance
- Operate solutions post-launch with monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement based on actual usage patterns
