Systems Infrastructure Engineer
About this role
Blueprint seeks a Systems Infrastructure Engineer for a contract role in Redmond, WA to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, benchmarking frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines supporting modern systems workloads. You'll own critical infrastructure across compute, virtualization, and automation while working closely with engineers and researchers to drive engineering velocity and system performance validation.
What you'll do
- Provision and manage multi-platform cloud compute environments with automated configuration and access coordination
- Own benchmarking infrastructure for VM lifecycle measurements, including boot latency, snapshot performance, and throughput analysis
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and validation workflows across repositories
- Troubleshoot and support Linux and Windows development and test environments
- Automate infrastructure workflows through scripting and investigate performance or test regressions
- Partner with engineers and researchers to improve reliability and scalability of development infrastructure
