About this role

Menlo Security seeks a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure on GCP and AWS supporting global security services. You'll manage Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure as code, observability systems, and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations while collaborating across teams to ensure reliable, secure, multi-region deployments.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across GCP and AWS in multiple regions and environments
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform modules and Spacelift with multi-layer configuration management
  • Design and implement observability solutions using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OTel collectors with dashboards and alerting
  • Manage certificate lifecycle, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and service mesh networking with Cilium
  • Identify and automate operational toil through scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted coding tools
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation, respond to incidents, and drive post-incident reviews

  • Google Cloud Platform (GKE, VPC, Cloud DNS, Artifact Registry, IAM, Workload Identity)
  • Network topologies and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS)
  • Observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OTel)
  • LLM-based code-assist tools and AI-assisted development
  • GitOps methodologies (preferred)
