About this role

Join a consumer health startup as a founding full-stack engineer, owning the entire engineering function across a Shopify-based membership platform, React Native mobile app, and LLM-powered automation tools. You'll work directly with leadership to ship an MVP quickly and scale a modern health and wellness ecommerce platform.

What you'll do

  • Build and launch a consumer membership web application on Shopify and Recharge, then manage ongoing maintenance and improvements
  • Monitor and optimize page speed, app performance, and third-party scripts across the storefront
  • Ensure privacy compliance with tools for tracking, consent management, and CPRA/GDPR data handling
  • Own architecture, stack choices, security decisions, vendor selection, and database design for the platform
  • Lead development of a React Native consumer app from scratch, prioritizing iOS
  • Build and deploy LLM-powered agents with evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop safeguards
