About this role

Cyngn seeks a Software Engineer to develop calibration, localization, and mapping systems for autonomous industrial vehicles deployed in real-world warehouses and factories. You'll work on a focused team building production software that enables HD map creation and robust fleet localization while collaborating across autonomy subsystems.

What you'll do

  • Develop and improve calibration, localization, and mapping subsystems for autonomous vehicles
  • Build production-quality software for HD map creation at deployment sites
  • Own well-scoped components while collaborating with vehicle infrastructure, hardware, and QA teams
  • Integrate CLAM systems with Perception, Decision, Planning, and Control teams
  • Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure safe and efficient autonomous vehicle operation
  • Support the transition from development to real-world deployment scenarios
