About this role
Support the Defense Information Systems Agency's Organizational Messaging Service program by applying security patches, managing system configurations, and ensuring DoD cybersecurity compliance across messaging infrastructure. This role requires hands-on systems engineering expertise in Windows environments and knowledge of DISA security frameworks.
What you'll do
- Apply patches and modify system configurations via Group Policy, Local Policy, and Windows Registry
- Resolve security findings and deploy Endpoint Security Solution modules across systems
- Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, ACAS scans, and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts
- Support DoD Risk Management Framework process by documenting security controls and gathering evidence
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team supporting OMS National Gateway Centers
- Maintain messaging interoperability and system reliability for DoD and Intelligence Community users
