About this role

Field AI seeks a Field Application Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and the company during deployments of autonomous robotic systems. You'll lead end-to-end implementation of quadrupeds, rovers, and humanoid robots in real-world environments, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive successful project outcomes across multiple concurrent deployments.

What you'll do

  • Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers throughout deployment, testing, and operational phases
  • Develop deployment plans, timelines, and technical implementation strategies for autonomous robotic systems
  • Deploy and supervise robotic systems in customer field environments while troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems integration issues
  • Coordinate execution across engineering, operations, and customer teams to ensure project success
  • Evaluate field performance data and communicate findings and recommendations to internal engineering teams
  • Manage multiple customer deployments simultaneously while leading technical reviews and readiness assessments
