Systems Engineer I - ISR
About this role
Entry-level systems engineering role focused on developing signal processing and software-defined radio solutions for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems. You'll collaborate with senior engineers to research wireless communications protocols, design prototypes, and conduct testing in laboratory and field environments.
What you'll do
- Research and develop understanding of wireless communications protocols (AM/FM, DMR, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee)
- Design and prototype software-defined radio solutions for signal processing challenges
- Model and simulate wireless signals and RF propagation effects
- Collaborate with software teams to develop, integrate, and test SDR systems
- Perform laboratory and field testing and validation of ISR systems
