Analytics Engineer
About this role
Higharc seeks an Analytics Engineer to own the data architecture, modeling, and reporting infrastructure that serves both external customers and internal teams. You'll design scalable analytics solutions in Looker and Observable, partner with engineering on data infrastructure, and establish yourself as the trusted authority on metrics and data quality across the organization.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable data models and BI views in Looker/Observable for customer and internal audiences
- Partner with engineering teams to architect data infrastructure, define instrumentation, and manage data flows between BigQuery, S3, and product analytics tools
- Define critical metrics with Product and Customer Success teams, then build the reporting and dashboards to support decision-making
- Evaluate and prioritize incoming analytics requests across the organization, establishing a sustainable triage process
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets using data modeling and statistical techniques
- Set strategic direction for the analytics stack and determine where each piece of reporting should live
