About this role

GuidePoint Security seeks an Azure Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients using Azure Commercial and Government environments. This remote role combines hands-on cloud architecture with security expertise, including advanced work in AI/ML platforms and API management.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement secure Azure cloud solutions following security-by-design principles
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and PowerShell
  • Architect and deploy Azure AI Foundry solutions, including generative AI workloads and RAG implementations
  • Plan and execute cloud migrations from on-premises environments to Azure tenants
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security policies, Microsoft Entra ID hardening, and compliance standards
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery strategies for high-availability environments
