Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing
About this role
H3X Technologies seeks Mechanical Engineers at all levels to develop and scale advanced manufacturing processes for high-performance electric motors (30 kW to 1 MW+). You'll own production areas from stator manufacturing through final assembly, bridging R&D and sustained production to deliver innovative propulsion systems for aviation, marine, industrial, and defense markets.
What you'll do
- Develop and mature novel manufacturing processes from concept through production deployment
- Lead manufacturing readiness for new products including process development, tooling design, and prototype-to-production transitions
- Design and validate production tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids using SolidWorks
- Perform root-cause analysis on production issues and drive corrective actions to eliminate defects
- Plan capacity and identify bottlenecks to support demand forecasting and scaling
- Partner with design, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to optimize manufacturability
