About this role
Join Hawk-Eye as a Hardware Operations Engineer supporting MLB stadium installations and maintenance of advanced camera and tracking systems. This hands-on field service role combines remote diagnostics, onsite troubleshooting, and equipment repairs across multiple venues, with a clear pathway to Hardware Operations Lead.
What you'll do
- Travel to stadiums for onsite installation, maintenance, and repair of Hawk-Eye and KinaTrax Baseball systems
- Perform hardware diagnostics on cameras, servers, networking equipment, power systems, and cabling
- Act as first-line responder for hardware failures, identify failed components, swap parts, and coordinate RMAs
- Monitor system health remotely, assist with troubleshooting, and prepare equipment kits in the warehouse
- Collaborate with Hardware Leads, Systems Engineering, and TechOps to escalate complex issues and document field evidence
- Shadow senior leads on complex technical work to build expertise and understand design-level challenges
