About this role
IMC seeks a Data Platform Operations Engineer to maintain and optimize the Performance Team's data infrastructure in Chicago. You'll ensure ETL pipelines and data workflows remain reliable, correct, and efficient while troubleshooting issues and driving continuous performance improvements.
What you'll do
- Own operational health and reliability of the Performance Team's data platform
- Monitor ETLs and data pipelines for correctness, timeliness, and stability
- Design and maintain data quality checks, alerts, and monitoring dashboards
- Investigate data issues and pipeline failures to root cause
- Troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipeline issues related to performance data workflows
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and resource efficiency
