Platform Infrastructure Engineer (SRE Core)
About this role
Join Menlo Security's Platform Infrastructure Engineering team to design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure powering a browser security platform protecting Fortune 500 companies. You'll manage Kubernetes clusters and multi-region deployments on GCP and AWS using Infrastructure as Code, observability tools, and AI-assisted development practices in a globally distributed, on-call environment.
What you'll do
- Deploy and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across GCP and AWS in multiple regions and environments
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform modules and Spacelift with multi-layer configuration management
- Design and implement observability solutions using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OTel collectors with dashboards and alerting
- Manage networking, certificates, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and service mesh with Cilium
- Automate operational tasks and reduce toil through scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and LLM-assisted coding tools
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation, respond to incidents, and drive post-incident reviews
