About this role

Neros seeks a Metrology Systems Engineer to oversee the quality and reliability of manufacturing test systems supporting drone production growth. You'll drive improvements in test coverage, system robustness, and data quality while partnering across teams to eliminate production bottlenecks and prevent quality escapes.

What you'll do

  • Own validation and continuous improvement of manufacturing test systems from NPI through production ramp
  • Analyze test data and failure trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Improve tester reliability through calibration control, preventive maintenance, and uptime optimization
  • Develop test quality processes including GR&R, test coverage analysis, and system health monitoring
  • Partner with Hardware and Firmware teams on DFT/DFM improvements to increase test effectiveness
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to prevent escapes and remove test bottlenecks
