About this role

OpenAI seeks a Power Land Developer to manage the advancement of powered-land infrastructure opportunities from initial evaluation through readiness. You'll handle utility coordination, interconnection processes, consultant management, and schedule/risk tracking across multiple concurrent sites while translating technical findings into clear business implications.

What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day advancement of powered-land opportunities from intake through readiness assessment
  • Own utility applications and interconnection follow-through, including study responses and queue milestones
  • Scope and manage external studies and consultant workstreams to validate site readiness
  • Track development schedules, dependencies, risk registers, and budget implications across active sites
  • Translate technical findings into clear schedule, budget, and risk assessments for portfolio decisions
  • Partner with land, environmental, economic development, and community affairs teams on project alignment
