About this role
SambaNova is hiring a Rack Level Manufacturing Test Engineer to design and optimize automated testing strategies for fully integrated AI infrastructure racks. You'll develop end-to-end test sequences for compute, power, cooling, and networking components while supporting manufacturing teams and new product introductions at global contract manufacturers.
What you'll do
- Design and build automated manufacturing test sequences for integrated system racks, including firmware flashing, network configuration, and OS deployment
- Implement rack-level stress testing for power, thermal validation, load-balancing, and PDU margin assessments
- Write and maintain test automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Go to integrate diagnostics into the MES
- Analyze parametric test data, monitor manufacturing yields, and establish pass/fail criteria to catch defects early
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to manufacturing technicians and train teams on test equipment
- Drive root cause analysis for system-level failures and deploy test lines at global contract manufacturing partner sites
