About this role
Samsara is seeking recent graduates for full-time software engineering roles to build scalable IoT and connected operations platforms. You'll work across backend infrastructure, web, mobile, or embedded systems, handling real-world challenges that impact global industries while leveraging modern tools and AI.
What you'll do
- Develop backend infrastructure in Golang to scale data ingestion and storage for IoT platforms supporting 15,000+ hardware assets
- Build full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and GraphQL to transform IoT data into actionable customer insights
- Contribute to React Native mobile app infrastructure to enable rapid feature development
- Work on embedded software for Samsara hardware, including edge AI, multimedia frameworks, and real-time data processing
- Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to rapidly iterate on customer-facing features
- Participate in customer interviews and site visits to understand real-world operational problems
