About this role
Samsara is seeking software engineering interns to contribute to its Connected Operations Cloud platform, which leverages IoT data to transform physical operations across industries like agriculture, construction, and transportation. Interns will work across backend infrastructure, full-stack web development, mobile apps, or embedded systems, depending on team fit and interests.
What you'll do
- Build and scale backend infrastructure for IoT data ingestion and storage supporting thousands of hardware assets
- Develop full-stack features that transform IoT data into actionable customer insights
- Strengthen React Native mobile app infrastructure and enable rapid feature development
- Create embedded software for Samsara hardware, including edge AI and real-time data processing
- Participate in customer interviews and collaborate with product and design teams
- Write and maintain code across the Golang, TypeScript, React, and React Native stack
