Engineer, Whole Vehicle Test Requirements and Validation – EE
About this role
Scout Motors seeks an Engineer to lead whole-vehicle electrical/electronic (EE) validation for its revolutionary electric and range-extended pickup trucks and SUVs. You'll own EE system integration, software release validation, and safety verification across real-world customer scenarios, ensuring electrical systems and software features meet performance and safety standards.
What you'll do
- Define and execute EE validation strategies for electrical systems, software features, and integrated functions across all vehicle operating conditions
- Lead Safe-to-Drive readiness checks to verify critical HV systems, LV battery, charging, and body electronics before software deployments
- Lead Functional Sprint Testing to validate EE functions across chassis, propulsion, body, charging, and infotainment systems
- Develop vehicle-level test cases, validation procedures, and instrumentation strategies for electrical system behavior and software functionality
- Translate EE system requirements and feature expectations into executable validation plans with measurable acceptance criteria
- Serve as vehicle-level validation authority for Compound Release Deployments and software maturity tracking
