Solutions Engineer - Strategic
About this role
Serval seeks a founding Solutions Engineer to lead technical pre-sales for an AI-native automation platform. You'll own the entire technical sales cycle with strategic enterprise customers, define solutions architecture best practices from the ground up, and bridge product and field to win deals with sophisticated IT and security buyers.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, and demos for strategic prospects alongside account executives
- Deep-dive on prospect integrations across identity, ITSM, ticketing, MDM, HRIS, and SaaS applications
- Address security and compliance concerns including access controls, audit logging, and approval workflows
- Build foundational SA toolkit: demo environments, reference architectures, evaluation frameworks, and technical FAQs
- Execute clean handoff to Deployment team at pilot kickoff with full technical context
- Serve as bridge between field and product engineering to surface objections and drive feature improvements
