About this role
SpaceX seeks a Full Stack Engineer to develop mission-critical software powering launch operations, Starship manufacturing, and Starlink's global satellite network. You'll own end-to-end application development with full ownership of challenging problems in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Develop highly reliable, mission-critical software used across SpaceX operations
- Create new applications that improve manufacturing, launch, and satellite network operations
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints
- Own all aspects of software engineering from design through deployment
- Deeply understand user problems and engineer efficient solutions
- Collaborate on system architecture, design decisions, and code reviews

- Full stack development (1+ years required)
- Object-oriented programming (Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java)
- Single page web applications (React, Angular, or similar)
- Database design and SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Docker and Kubernetes containerization
- CI/CD, version control, and deployment pipelines
- System design and performance optimization
- UNIX-like systems and infrastructure tools (Terraform, Ansible)
