About this role
SpaceX seeks an IT Network Infrastructure Technician for weekend shifts at Cape Canaveral to install, test, and maintain critical telecommunications infrastructure supporting launch and landing operations. The role involves working with fiber optics, copper cabling, RF systems, and audio/video equipment in support of Falcon, Dragon, and Starship missions.
What you'll do
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling systems
- Install and configure cable pathway systems including trays, racks, and mounting hardware
- Build out and support telecommunication and equipment rooms
- Diagnose and repair communications systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition equipment
- Perform continuity checks, wiring error detection, and complex technical troubleshooting using test equipment
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications to guide installation work
