About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer for Starlink's telemetry platform to design and operate a distributed system handling petabyte-scale data ingestion, processing, and querying. You'll work end-to-end on mission-critical infrastructure serving 9M+ satellite internet users, requiring an active Top Secret clearance.
What you'll do
- Design and build highly reliable distributed telemetry platform for petabyte-scale data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, design reviews, and code quality
- Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission requirements into technical solutions
- Own complete software and hardware stack from design through production operation
- Apply first-principles thinking to solve complex business and technical problems
- Ensure system reliability and performance for mission-critical operations
