About this role

Frontend Engineer at Supabase working on Studio and marketing tooling used by millions of developers. You'll own features from conception through production, build robust quality pipelines with modern testing and CI, and work autonomously across the full stack in a remote, open-source-first environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and ship frontend features end-to-end, from design through production deployment and user iteration
  • Build and maintain quality infrastructure including type safety, testing (unit, component, contract, visual regression), accessibility checks, and bundle budgets
  • Establish preventative checks in the CI/CD pipeline to catch regressions early and systematize fixes
  • Work cross-functionally with API contracts, preview deployments, and observability systems
  • Review and guide AI-generated code, tightening architecture and defining guardrails for automated tooling
  • Communicate asynchronously and manage work autonomously within a distributed team

  • React and TypeScript with deep frontend fundamentals
  • Modern frontend architecture (SSR, streaming, server components, edge computing)
  • Testing frameworks and tooling (Vitest, Playwright, MSW)
  • CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
  • Accessibility standards and visual regression testing
  • Code review and architectural decision-making
  • Asynchronous communication and autonomous work management
  • Experience shipping products 0→1 with user feedback loops
