Software Engineer II
About this role
Veeam seeks a Software Engineer II to design and build FedRAMP-compliant microservices for their secure data protection SaaS platform. You'll translate compliance requirements into production code, implementing cryptography, authentication, and audit controls while working across Go and C#/.NET in a distributed team.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable microservices in Go and C#/.NET integrated with cloud managed services
- Implement FIPS-validated cryptography, TLS enforcement, and CI/CD compliance checks
- Build audit instrumentation for privileged operations with structured event logging
- Harden authentication paths using OAuth key pairs, JWT validation, and SAML federation
- Participate in on-call rotation and own reliability of production cloud services
- Collaborate with compliance engineers to translate requirements into tested application code
