About this role
Verkada seeks an Enterprise Solutions Engineer in Denver to drive enterprise adoption of its AI-powered physical security platform. You'll act as the technical voice during sales cycles with Fortune 500 customers, addressing technical concerns and designing deployments while traveling 50%+ of the time.
What you'll do
- Serve as subject matter expert on Verkada's video security, access control, sensors, alarms, and visitor management products
- Overcome technical objections and secure technical approvals during enterprise sales processes
- Design and present deployment solutions to diverse stakeholders from C-suite to IT directors
- Train and educate customers, partners, and internal teams on Verkada offerings
- Support territory account executives in expanding upmarket into Fortune 500 accounts
- Travel domestically and internationally (50%+ frequency) for customer and partner engagements
What they're looking for
- Enterprise sales engineering (3+ years)
- Cloud security and IoT systems knowledge
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP)
- Linux systems administration
- Video surveillance and access control systems
- Technical communication with executive and technical audiences
- API integration and Python (preferred)
- Active Directory, SAML/SCIM authentication systems (preferred)
