About this role
Verkada seeks an Enterprise Solutions Engineer for the Southeast to serve as the technical lead supporting Fortune 500 sales efforts. You'll address customer technical concerns, design Verkada security deployments, and evangelize the product suite across cloud security, IoT, networking, and access control domains.
What you'll do
- Serve as technical subject matter expert on Verkada's full product suite during the sales process
- Overcome technical objections and secure wins with enterprise customers
- Design and present solution deployments to C-level executives and IT/security teams
- Train and educate customers and partners on Verkada product offerings
- Partner with account executives to expand market presence in Fortune 500 accounts
- Travel 50%+ domestically and internationally to support customer and partner engagements

- Sales engineering and enterprise solution design
- Networking (HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, firewalls)
- Cloud security and IoT systems
- Access control and video surveillance systems
- Linux systems administration
- Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, and API integration
- Python or other programming languages
- Security certifications (AWS, CCNA, Security+, etc.)
